A REALTOR® Member who has held membership in the National Association as a REALTOR®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®, or both, for a cumulative period of forty (40) years, is eligible for REALTOR® Emeritus status.
Eligibility
The REALTOR® Emeritus status eligibility requirements are:
- Forty (40) years of REALTOR® or REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® (or both) membership.
- Proof of one (1) year of service* at the National Association level.
* “Service” is defined as serving as an NAR officer, director, committee member, Federal Political Coordinator, Global Ambassador, or Global Coordinator to a country with which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement.
Upon approval of an application for REALTOR® Emeritus status by the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS®, no further payment of dues to the National Association is necessary. Please note that the dues waiver does not take effect until the dues year immediately following the Board of Directors’ approval. In addition, REALTOR® Emeritus Members are exempt from the Code of Ethics Training requirement.
The annual participation fee for Stellar MLS will be waived and not invoiced for any Participant/Subscriber designated as a REALTOR® Emeritus by the National Association of REALTORS®. If the REALTOR® Emeritus status is awarded to a Broker Participant, the Stellar MLS annual fee waiver only applies to one office account. If awarded during the current billing cycle, the Participant/Subscriber Emeritus status will not take effect until the following billing cycle.

Eligibility
The REALTOR® Emeritus status eligibility requirements are:
- Forty (40) years of REALTOR® or REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® (or both) membership.
- Proof of one (1) year of service* at Greater Tampa REALTORS®.
* “Service” is defined as serving as a Greater Tampa REALTORS® officer, director, Presidential Advisory Group appointee, committee member or Task force member.
Members designated as REALTOR® Emeritus by Greater Tampa REALTORS® shall be exempt from Local Association Annual Dues and MLS Local Service Center Fees. Please note that the dues waiver does not take effect until the dues year immediately following the Board of Directors’ approval. Greater Tampa REALTORS® Emeritus Members are NOT exempt from the Code of Ethics Training requirement.
